NintendoWare Weekly: Tales of Elastic Boy Learning Piano

Oh, you thought the Virtual Console was back in full force? That's understandable — what with there finally being a new game to play last week. But here we are again: It's Monday and there are no new Virtual Console releases of which to speak. Instead, we get one new WiiWare game and three new DSiWare titles. Check 'em out after the break.

  • Tales of Elastic Boy – Mission 1 (Lexis Numerique, 1–2 players, 600 Wii Points): He's on a quest to save the planet and needs your help — and before you ask, no, we're not sure if he's of any relation to Stretch Armstrong.

DSiWare

  • Cosmos X2 (Saturnine Games, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): Offering up to twice the amount of Cosmos seen in most DSiWare games, this — actually, that's just our horrible attempt at a joke: the Cosmos X2 is a ship. You pilot it against an alien invasion.
  • myNotebook: Pearl (Nnooo, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): This turns your DSi into a functioning notebook, for, like, taking notes and making grocery lists and stuff.
  • Music On: Learning Piano (Abylight, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): This offers 15 classical compositions to play, displaying a "simplified" music sheet on the top screen and a full piano keyboard you interact with on the touch-screen below.
