One Shots: It's oh-so-quiet

Sure, starting out in an older game can make for a quiet and lonely starting experience. However, starting a new character in a favorite game is better, as the quiet means you get to savor a locale that you may have whipped through the first time. Today's Final Fantasy XI screenshot shows off one such restart, courtesy of Quisi, who writes in to explain the scene: "I'm in south Gustaberg, one of the starting areas in Final Fantasy XI, which means these graphics are eight years old. There is beauty in simplicity in my opinion. This place looks barren; everything is grey, and yet it's very charming for me. Final Fantasy XI is best if you like 'sad' atmosphere in a game."
