WRUP: PlayStation Plus Home lounge mixer
Inspired by the PlayStation Plus-exclusive lounge inside of Home revealed this week, we figured it was only appropriate to set up a mixer. Not in there, of course. No, we don't have the cred to get past that velvet rope. We'll just have to have a pity party outside, standing with the rest of the dregs. Crying helplessly into our highly ethanol-infused cocktails on our couches, missing out on the Studio 54-type antics going on inside.
What's everyone playing?
- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Finished Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's single player. May go back to find out the truth, but I see most of the weekend involving the multiplayer and some Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
- Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): [... still too stuffed to play.]
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Given that I'll be having second Thanksgiving this weekend, I'll likely spend the majority of my game time with Rock Band 3 (and in turn, other human beings) and ilomilo. And though I'm sure my brother would love Super Meat Boy, I'm also terrified of introducing that into his life. We can only sustain one profanity-screaming Gilbert at a time in the house, ya know.
- Chris Buffa (@ChrisBuffa): I doubt I'll have any time to play games, but if I do, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit and perhaps some Halo: Reach sounds like a great idea.
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Having finished the mammoth Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the excellent Mass Effect 2 DLC, I'm between games at the moment. I could pick up Black Ops or Brotherhood, but what about this stack of unplayed games? How about you, Red Dead Redemption? We were never properly introduced.
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'm only six levels away from 50 in AC: Brotherhood, so I wanna hit that this weekend. Also, I just started Castlevania: Lord of Shadows and plan on plowing through as much of that as possible.
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): Guys, I just beat Cave Story, and now I'm going back and playing it again, to get the other ending. I haven't been obsessed with a game like this in years.
- James Ransom-Wiley: I'll be staying productive while traveling, iterating my "amazing" sim-bookstore combination until I win GOTY.
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): You're going to have to do the game-playing for me this weekend, I'm afraid.
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): I can't stop playing Assassin's Creed 2: Brotherhood. Seriously, it's bad. Why am I buying all these art stores? How desperately do I need art that the opportunity to buy it must be 20 feet away from me at all times?
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I'm still hooked on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer, but I'm sure I'll find time for Donkey Kong Country Returns, Disney Epic Mickey and two HD collections (Sly Cooper and Prince of Persia). I'm SURE.
- Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): Rock Band 3 continues to provide me with enjoyment — guitar goals are almost done, bass is getting there, and drums and keyboard are next. Almost done with Enslaved as well, and I may pick Reach back up if I want to shoot something this weekend.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): In a perfect world, I'd be able to play Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit and Rock Band 3 at the same time, all weekend. Since nothing's perfect, I'm going to play Hot Pursuit with a guitar controller. Kiss your high scores goodbye, suckers!
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) Like McElroy the elder, my obsession is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Someone has to fix all these broken aqueducts, after all. If I leave Italy at all, it might be to finally try out Split/Second.
