One Shots: Down the rabbit hole

If our One Shots mailbox is any indication, people are swarming all over Azeroth in World of Warcraft — but this isn't the Azeroth we all knew before. The lands players find themselves in is strange and new, despite having some elements that seem oddly familiar. Today, we see a sight that players haven't been treated to before, courtesy of Wrathbourne from the Gurubashi server in World of Warcraft. He writes in to explain this strange fiery scene: "What you see here is a once-per-character event that takes place when you first travel to Deepholm. I'm flying into the heart of the Maelstrom — the hole in reality that was opened when Deathwing broke into Azeroth from the elemental plane of earth. I guess it can literally be said that my day went right down the drain at this point..."
