One Shots: Farthest star
While the wild reaches of New Eden in EVE Online continues to attract more capsuleers, sometimes the familiar locales can prove equally as dangerous (if not more so) than far-flung nullsec space. Take for example, the locale that today's One Shots contributor Xilmar took this screenshot in. Anyone who has risked a succulent cargo or ship at poor times can speak to the dangers of this place. We'll let Xilmar explain: "Not being able to sleep all night long, I decided to do some missions in EVE Online just as dawn broke. Tired, I sold some items on stockpile and bought a Marauder ship, the Golem. On the way back from the black hole — sorry, I mean Jita, the game's main trading hub — I noticed an all-too-familiar sight: players constantly coming and going or just hanging out at the gate, looking for their next unsuspecting target to kill or ransom. Checked the time: 7:30 a.m. in the UK, 2:30 a.m. US EST time. 'Yes, it's just another night in EVE,' I thought to myself."
