MV Guide: January 24th - 31st

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively's Livestream channel.

Every week the Massively staff logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of games to take a look at. During Livestream events, you can participate in the live chat to learn about the game, ask questions, and spend some time with Massively staff and readers.

Are you worried about missing out due to your schedule? Don't be, because we'll be Livestreaming at various times during the afternoon and evening both weekdays and weekends, so you're sure to find something great up and running at a good time! If you miss a Livestream, we've got you covered there too! Just check out the "latest videos" section of our channel to find past Livestream events to view at your leisure.

Monday, 1:00 p.m. EST: Shawn -- Champions Online
Join Massively's Editor-in-Chief Shawn Schuster as he takes you through his favorite MMOs. Considering the fact that he can't seem to stick with one game for long, you're bound to see a variety of titles, including betas, new releases, and old favorites. In this episode, Shawn jumps back into Champions Online, just before the super-hero game goes into F2P mode on January 25th. He'll mess around with his mid-level characters and take a stroll through the character creator. He just has to remember that this show is only an hour long!

Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Asheron's Call
This week Beau will be playing Asheron's Call, another golden oldie. Watch over his shoulder as he tries to figure out where to go and what to do. No, really -- where does he go and what does he do? While the game might not feature state-of-the-art graphics, they certainly were impressive in their time.

Tuesday, 10:15 p.m. EST: Karen -- RIFT
Night owls rejoice! Join Karen as she explores the world of Telara during RIFT's fifth beta event, Battle of the Ascended. She'll take a look at the starting area for the Guardians and then go rift-hunting in some of the higher-level areas. With any luck, we might even see a major event!

Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. EST: Krystalle -- Black Prophecy
This week, Krystalle Voecks will be picking up where she left off last week in Black Prophecy. Will our brave pilot survive the oncoming enemies? Will the cutscenes continue? Will she get used to the controls? What will the fate of the universe be? Tune in this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. EST and find out!

Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Larry -- DC Universe Online
Gorilla Grodd was an easy defeat for Massively Man and the Massively Overpowered League, but Superman has a new assignment for us this week: Queen Bee. The HIVE has taken over the Metropolis Metrodome, and Supes has his hands full with Brainiac. The Man of Steel wants us to investigate. You can join us in DC Universe Online and battle Queen Bee and her minions on the Zero Hero server this week. Just contact Shaddoe or Massively Man (Larry Everett) at least 15 minutes before the livestream starts so we can get you on the team!

Thursday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Rubi -- Guild Wars
Join Rubi and Massively Overpowered [MVOP] as they continue their journey through Guild Wars. They're continuing their trek through Factions this week as they show Count zu Heltzer that they're worthy of moving forward by turning in 10,000 faction points. After that, it's on to the Eternal Grove -- join us on Livestream to chat, ask questions, and warn them that the Afflicted are sneaking up on the Tree Singers!

Saturday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Karen -- EverQuest II
Join Karen and her guildmates this Saturday at 9:00 p.m. EST as they take a trip down memory lane and tackle the dragons of Veeshan's Peak in EverQuest II! Come see the dragons you fondly remember from EverQuest as we take on the legendary lair of the Ring of Scale. Make sure to bring your fire resist gear and your beverage of choice!
