One Shots: Phenomenal cosmic power, itty bitty living space

Have you ever noticed that when you go back and look at something you remember fondly from your youth, it doesn't seem to be quite as big as you remember it? So, too, with people or places on TV and in the movies — once you get closer, it's just not quite what you'd thought it might be like. That was certainly the case for today's One Shots contributor, Neryk@Nyxium of Starfleet Special Operations Group, who had a chance to check out the beloved NCC-1701 up close and personal in Star Trek Online recently. He wrote in to say: "A friend and I were redoing old missions and saw TOS Enterprise. It doesn't seem to measure up anymore."
