One Shots: Second star to the right

When it comes to MMOs, EVE Online certainly has a passionate and devoted fanbase. Not only are players willing and able to make their place in New Eden — by force if needed — but the most ardent supporters are getting ready to head for savagely beautiful Iceland for Fanfest! Today we have a note from one recent EVE Online convert, Neef Baylan of the Madrigan Syndicate, who made his own pilgramage lately. He writes in:

"I started playing MMOs in the past several years, beginning with Star Wars Galaxies. MMOs have really changed the way I look at gaming. Now I am in love with simply exploring the many universes that are available in the scene. I'm currently spending all of my time in EVE Online, soaking up all of the information that there is to be had. I recently decided to make a pilgrimage of sorts out to the EVE gate, and I snapped this screenshot while I was out there. It was a moment of peace and serenity in the hostile setting of New Eden, and I'm glad that I took the time to make my way out there. Fly safe!"
