MV Guide: March 7 - 14, 2011

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively's Livestream channel.

Every week, the Massively staff logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of games to take a look at. During Livestream events, you can participate in the live chat to learn about the game, ask questions, and spend some time with Massively staff and readers.

MV Guide this week should have someone for everyone! We've got a heavy schedule and a wide variety of games and times, so follow along after the jump and see what's on MV TV this week!

Monday, 1:00 p.m. EST: Shawn -- ARGO Online
Join Massively's Editor-in-Chief Shawn Schuster as he takes you through his favorite MMOs. Considering the fact that he can't seem to stick with one game for long, you're bound to see a variety of titles, including betas, new releases, and old favorites. In this episode, Shawn takes a look at burda;ic's ARGO Online. This post-apocalyptic steampunk MMO impressed us at GDC, so we figured we'd show it off a bit here.

Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. EST: Brandon -- Star Trek Online
Join Brandon as he plays through Cutting the Cord, the series finale of STO's latest featured series, Cloaked Intentions! Players have called this "the best episode that Cryptic has ever made" because it combines new game technology with an amazing storyline. Catch up on what you missed from prior episodes here. Want to see what the Romulans are up to and how the Iconians may change the story forever? Beam up and tune in!

Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Ghost X
This week Beau will be continuing his side-scrolling theme with Ghost X, a killer-looking action MMO brought to us by Gamekiss. Already he's been enjoying slamming his sword into ghost after ghost, all while looking for that perfect pair of shoes. His name in game is BeauHindman, in case you would like to bust some ghosts alongside him!

Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Larry -- DC Universe Online
Defending Metropolis is a tough job, so we are going to give Massively Man a break this week and focus on a little bit more of the endgame content in DCUO. Shaddoe is stalking Gotham City, and a skinny woman in leather has captured his attention. Let's get real -- any woman running around in a catsuit is bound to get attention. Shaddoe has tracked her down to the Gotham City Museum warehouse. What is she doing in there? Catch the next episode of the Alter-Ego livestream to watch Shaddoe find out!

Thursday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Rubi -- Guild Wars
MVOP is back after a GDC-inspired hiatus last week, and we're ready for Venta Cemetery in Guild Wars! Once we've taken care of that, we'll be checking out a new vanquish -- hopefully with some extra benefits thanks to the new Zaishen Vanquish bonuses!

Friday, 8:00 p.m. EST: Jeremy -- Runes of Magic
This week, Jeremy takes you inside Runes of Magic's battlefields. Get an inside view of the popular Tyrefen Mountain Range that's a twist on the old capture-the-flag game. There are some pretty unique battlefields in RoM, including a tower defense game and even a horse race that Jeremy calls Mario Kart-meets-Runes of Magic. Tune in to find out about how battlefields work and enjoy the carnage.

Saturday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Karen -- EverQuest II
Karen returns to Velious, and this week she'll be taking a look at some of the overland quest zones. If you're an old EverQuest player, you'll get a chance to relive some nostalgia as we visit some familiar locations. If there's time, we'll take a look at some of the heritage quests in game and maybe even sneak in another public quest.
