WoW Fashionista: Creating that "super" summer look

Patch 4.1 might have just come out, but it's been months now that you've been sporting that same old tier. With the trade chat PUGs finally catching up to you on gear, are you worried about how you're going to get people to inspect you while you fake standing AFK outside the bank? Sure, you could mount up, but you know in your heart that Invincible mount is sooo last expansion. Fortunately for you, WoW Insider is here to get your bags ready for the summer slump with the hottest new look!

With Thor already in theaters and several more costume-heavy blockbusters like Captain America and Green Lantern on the way, you can bet your Val'anyr that the superhero look is in. Better start dusting off those classic capes in the bank and hope to Elune you didn't shard that Netherblade Facemask.

To create our featured look, you'll need the following.

Our male model Alphonse is also wearing an optional pair of limited edition Treetop Leggings to complete his ensemble. He is pictured holding Cookie's Tenderizer.

If you can't match our outfit perfectly, you can still put together "a lot of look" by combining various pieces of gear in bright, contrasting colors. Color is the key to any superhero outfit; you don't want go too dark, or you'll end up looking like some sort of wannabe Ravenholdt assassin. Leave the leather pants in the bank.

Other key accessories are a fashion-forward cape and gloves. Be sure your gloves are a style with big, exaggerated gauntlets, so people don't confuse your look with some unfortunate level 63 mage who's still questing in Outland.

A unique mask, helmet, or hair accessory is a must for defining your heroic identity. A Red Defias Mask or Bloodwoven Mask are obvious choices for hiding your face, but be creative. A cute pair of engineer's goggles is definitely not too much.

Here's an example of an outfit created by one of our readers. Looking fabulous, Sasha!
