MV Guide: June 20 - 26, 2011

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively's Livestream channel.

Every week, the Massively staff logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of games to take a look at. During Livestream events, you can participate in the live chat to learn about the game, ask questions, and spend some time with Massively staff and readers. (Of course, Livestream events are subject to the whims of outside forces like server-side gremlins once in a while.)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program! The Massively crew is recovered from E3 and ready to dive back into livestreaming. We've got plenty lined up this week, so follow along after the jump and see what's coming up on MV TV!


Monday, 3:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Battlestar Galactica Online
Let's take to space together, shall we? Unless you're a human, of course. In that case, Beau wants to blow you out of the sky. For the Cylons!

Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. EDT: Brandon -- Star Trek Online
Beam up with Brandon as he hangs around on the STO Tribble Test Server to show off some of the greatest updates coming to the game in Season Four. Called the "update the game has needed since launch," the ground combat 2.0 system brings a semi-FPS shooter system that is sure to please. Don't leave your phasers at home!

Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- City of Eternals
Like pleather? How do you feel about hypnotism? Are you cool with really bad hickeys? Well, City of Eternals might be just for you. This Flash-based browser game is a real, full MMORPG... but is it a good one? You can watch as Beau decides.

Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Spiral Knights
What do you get when you mix 8bit music, arcade action and endless content? You get a good time, that's what! Join Beau as he explores the dark corners of the clockworks!

Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. EDT: Matt -- RIFT
In Matt's inaugural livestream, he'll round up the Massively Overpowered RIFT guild and charge headlong into the game's first instance, Realm of the Fae. On top of that, it's launch day for RIFT's patch 1.3, Waves of Madness, so Matt and the guild will be scrambling around Telara like decapitated chickens trying to soak in all the world event goodness they can!

Thursday, 9:00 p.m. EDT: Justin -- LotRO
Join Justin as he grabs a switch and heads out into the wilds of Enedwaith to spank some sense into the locals. If you're really nice, he'll sing a Hobbit tune for you.

Friday, 3:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Eden Eternal
This little charmer shows off some cool graphics, neat customization and a very light grind. Will it be fun, too? Check out the stream to see Beau play it. That way, you don't have to lift a finger! Unless you like what you see. In that case, you'll need to lift a finger to download it.

Saturday, 4:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy -- Runes of Magic
The first part of Chapter 4 has brought a new crafting festival that warms Jeremy's little obsidian heart. Join Jeremy in-game and on the livestream to check out Runes of Magic's Craft Festival.
