iOS app updates for August 3

The following iOS apps received updates in the App Store:

BeeJive IM

Version 4.4 was released with changes that include:

  • Updated settings to add a "return key to send" option that can be disabled
  • New option for AIM users to hide system messages

MyPad+

Version 2.0.5 was released with changes that include:

  • Twitter timeline added
  • The ability to close windows with a two-finger swipe or double tap added
  • Photo slideshow added

Photon Flash Web Browser

Version 1.2 was released with changes that include:

  • Rewrite to improve experience for users with low bandwidth networks
  • Drag mode to drag around maps in games such as Farmville
  • Provide settings to adjust flash quality and adapt to network conditions

LiveJournal

Version 1.1 was released with changes that include:

  • Read any journals through the app
  • Journal viewing history
  • YouTube and Vimeo video support added
  • Addition of "lj-like" tag to entries via toolbar
  • Links to LiveJournal entries and comments now open within the app

GoodPlayer

Version 2.7 was released with changes that include:

  • SMB support improved
  • Downloader feature improved with force download added
  • You can give a name to a direct streaming media URL
  • .zip file format decompressing supported
  • Version information added
  • Can leave a review of the app from within the app
  • More sites tested for downloader feature

Snapseed

Version 1.2 was released with changes that include:

  • App is now universal and supports both versions of the iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 3rd and 4th Generation iPod touch
  • Camera Capture from within the app added
  • Addition of standard aspect ratios for cropping
