EA acquires freemium developer Bight Games

Papa Riccitiello is building a new wing on to the EA estate as the company acquires Bight Games, a studio you might know from its work on the iOS version of NBA Jam. The developer will be housed under the EA Interactive umbrella in Canada in a sale that's expected to be finalized by months end.

You'll notice that while we mentioned NBA Jam, we're cleverly yet to acknowledge the existence of Bight Games' far more popular iOS/iPad/Facebook social game Trade Nation (seen above), for fear you'll discover we've been playing the entire time we've been writing this post.
