Chahi's 'Another World' teleports to iOS on September 22
Two Eric Chahi games in two months! That's got to be a record. Of course, unlike From Dust, this second game is a remake, but it's still exciting. Publisher BulkyPix announced today that the iOS update of Chahi's classic action-adventure game Another World (known in America as Out of This World) will be released on September 22 as a universal iPhone/iPad app, for $4.99 / 3,99€ / £2,99.
The new version includes remastered graphics, which can be toggled with a two-finger swipe. It also has the option to use "new intuitive touch controls" or a virtual D-pad -- we're desperately hoping at least one of them will work.
The iOS remake also adds new difficulty levels -- both easier and harder than the original -- and remastered sound. This all sounds great, but, once again, we're wary of those controls.

DotEmu and BulkyPix Bring Another World On iOS September 22nd
September, 7th 2011 - San Francisco, CA & Paris, France - Adventure gaming returns to iPad and iPhone devices later this month when the iconic game Another World arrives in the App Store from DotEmu and BulkyPix. The game, a combination effort between visionary game designer Eric Chahi and developer DotEmu, will be back in its 20th Anniversary Edition, especially redesigned for iPhone and iPad.

Released across more than a dozen platforms since its 1991 debut, Another World has attained cult status among critics and sophisticated gamers alike for its cinematic effects in the graphics, sound and cut scenes.
Another World chronicles the story of a young scientist hurtled through space and time by a nuclear experiment that goes wrong. You assume the role of Lester Knight Chaykin who has to dodge, outwit, and overcome the host of alien monsters and deadly earthquakes that plague the alien landscape he finds himself within. Only a perfect blend of logic and skill will get Lester past the deadly obstacles that lie in wait.
20th Anniversary Edition redesigned for iPhone & iPad
