MV Guide: October 31-November 6, 2011

Warrior Saga

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively's Livestream channel.

Every week, the Massively staff logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of titles to take a look at. During livestream events, you can participate in the live chat, ask questions to learn about the game, and simply spend some time with Massively staff and readers. (Of course, livestream events are subject to the whims of outside forces like server-side gremlins once in a while.)

Follow along after the jump to see what's on this week's schedule!

Monday, 5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Warrior Saga
Beau was debating what to play for this week's Rise and Shiny when suddenly this adorable looking game popped up on the front page of Massively. Coincidence or divine fate? Either way, join Beau as he plays through the newbie levels of this new browser-based MMO.

Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Dark Age of Camelot
Well, the new new-player experience has been released, so Beau figured it was a good time to revisit Dark Age of Camelot! Join him as he tries out the new areas and quests!

Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. EDT: Patrick -- Champions Online
Although our hero's best efforts at stopping the Apocalypse have helped set up the pieces for the resistance, several great heroes have fallen, and the bad guys haven't even slowed down. Can an unlikely alliance with the New Shadows help save the world? Can the Champions recover with two of their members fallen?

Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy -- Runes of Magic
Some more dungeon diving is on Jeremy's plate in Runes of Magic. Join him as he sneaks his way into Ice Dwarf Kingdom to have a look around. If you're attuned for IDK and can handle the level-50 version, then meet up with Jeremy, on Artemis. Just remember: Jeremy may have a Priest/Rogue, but he's not specced to be the best healer. He does best as a DPS Priest with some nice party buffs.

Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Dark Age of Camelot
Beau continues his look at Dark Age of Camelot's new player experience. Hopefully it will make plenty of sense and he will not have to resort to cursing at the game! (Although that would make for good viewing.)

Thursday, 5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Dark Age of Camelot
Ah, Dark Age of Camelot. You offer so much, and hopefully this new player experience will only enhance what you have so far. Join Beau as he generally sucks at the game but has a great time doing it!

Thursday, 9:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy and Karen -- Fallen Earth
Jeremy and Karen trade in their elven swords for fireplace pokers and sawed off shotguns, as they pay a visit to post-apocalyptic Earth. Will they survive? Probably not, but they'll have fun trying!

Thursday, 10:00 p.m. EDT: Brandon -- Star Trek Online
Hang out with Brandon for an evening full of Star Trek Online as he treks across the galaxy in search of adventure. Also, feel free to join in on the chat through the Livestream site and give him requests on what you would like to see. If you happen to be around in-game and want to team up with him, send an invite to @bfelczer.

Friday, 5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Dark Age of Camelot
At this point in the week, you should be able to tell whether or not the new newbie experience in Dark Age of Camelot is working out for Beau or not. Watch as he battles, travels and generally noobs it up during this stream!

Friday, 9:00 p.m. EDT: Karen and Jeremy -- DC Universe Online
The game is officially free to play this week, so Jeremy and Karen will slip on their capes and see how the game's been doing since launch.

Sunday, 3:00 p.m. EDT: Brandon -- Magic: The Gathering Online
Tune in as we continue our journey through The Multiverse of Magic: The Gathering Online. Watch as Brandon battles against other players from around the world, unleashing the spells they have gathered along their journey. Feel free to join in the chatroom to ask your questions about the game. And if you happen to have a MTGO account, email him for a friendly duel!
