Hello again, Massively readers and viewers! Did you enjoy the Mars Rover landing? By the time you read this, were you able to get some time outside to check out the Perseid meteor shower? No? That's OK because you were inside watching Massively TV, right? No?

All right, let's stay calm. Here's what I'll do for you, but just this once. I'm going to recap some of the best moments from the last week of livestreaming. I'll wrap them up in a nice package to save you some of the work. All you need to do is click past the cut, watch the streams and... hey! Stop looking at those meteors! Get back in here.

This week we had Blake returning with his Lunchtime Livecast, this time discussing the new Star Wars: The Old Republic transition to free-to-play. Next up, I took the mic and played some of The Kingdom of Loathing for Choose My Adventure. I jumped head-first into Dark Blood after that (with Outspark's help, of course) and followed it up with a revisit to Allods Online. Mike shot a lot of stuff in EVE Online, and Jeremy took us through another starter zone in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes in celebration of SOE's early free-to-play transition. MJ joined up and streamed some EverQuest II, a bit of DC Universe Online, The Secret World, and Aion. Voila! Instant entertainment!

Lunchtime Livecast #26 focuses on the recent announcement from EA that Star Wars: The Old Republic is going free-to-play. Hear Blake's candid comments on the game, the decision, and the management of SWTOR by BioWare and EA in this week's show. The game is turning the corner, but which way are we heading? Tune in to find out.

The Kingdom of Loathing banner

I was busy this week and started off by streaming some of The Kingdom of Loathing for my continuing Choose My Adventure campaign. I made several mistakes and promptly heard about them from the veteran players. The Kingdom of Loathing is a pretty intricate game despite its simple exterior. Over the next few weeks, I hope to crack the code... with your help of course. Be sure to vote each week! Watch this stream before you go, though!

Dark Blood banner

I also jumped into Dark Blood, a new action-based MMO from Outspark. I've done livestreams with the developers before, but this one really had me laughing. If you have enjoyed games like Dungeon Fighter, then you might enjoy this stream. Dark Blood has the same action and over-the-top combo moves, but it also features stellar graphics and some pretty interesting customization. Players can craft appearance armor, for example, but can also buy armor dyes in the cash shop. Check this one out if you like non-stop fighting. Don't worry; I have a pocket full of quarters.

The last video in my streak of recaps is a revisit to Allods Online for my Rise and Shiny column. I have always respected Allods Online and wanted to get into it, but the grind just hit me too hard. Now, after many tweaks, patches and new tools, the game finally feels like it should: fun as heck. Hey, good things take time, right?

EVE Online banner

EVE Online is a brutal place. In last week's stream, Mike lost no fewer than four ships. So this week, he takes it easy with some mission running and a little jetcan mining. Of course, in EVE Online, there's always a chance that things could go horribly wrong. So tune in and see how Mike screws up even the safest of tasks. That's sort of his thing.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes banner

Another day, another class, race, and starting zone in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes for Jeremy. The SOE team is slowly changing and adding things to the world and starting areas. Whether you're new or a veteran, you can watch Jeremy play the newbie experience. Keep an eye out because more changes are surely on the way!

EverQuest II banner

My cheeeeeeeerished! Join MJ as she pops into one of the Sinking Sand's dungeons, The Hidden Cache. Besides battling a cyclops, bands of thieving Dervish, and ferocious crocs, she gets to meet up with a troll-like creature, Mullock, who dearly misses his pet rock! How does that meeting go? Let's just say MJ won't be asking him to dance anytime soon!

DC Universe Online banner

All superheroes are not alike! And all superhero games are not either... assuming you actually get in the game! MJ Loves cinematics and cutscenes, but the feature-length introductory movie of DCUO was a wee bit more than expected. Ultimately, she did make it into game. Get a glimpse of character creation and see whether MJ was able to remember enough to keep herself from becoming a superhero road sandwich while poking around Gotham!

The Secret World banner

Cheerio and all that! Caving under viewer pressure, MJ took to the streets of London as a new Templar to show of the introductory story. If you thought life was more civilized in London, wait until MJ steps into the training arena!

Aion banner

Besh, baby! Oh yah! That's right, MJ actually finally made it into a Besmundir Temple group! Of course, it was a PUG, so you know there were some interesting antics along the way (including a high-level Templar who seemed a bit... lost). Curious to see how Besh has changed since the 3.1 nerf? And more importantly, was there any loot?!?! Watch and see whether good fortune strikes twice!
