Pikachu 3DS XL sparks into North America on March 24

Pika! It's been a long time coming, but the much-traveled Pikachu 3DS XL is on its way to North America, and it arrives next weekend on March 24. The yummy yellow edition comes with a 4GB SD memory card, and is priced $199.99.

Nintendo is also incentivizing a buy with one of the two 3DS games coming out on the same day, namely Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. If you register the Pika-portable and one of those two games before April 30, you'll receive a bonus download code for one of five 3DS games.

The five games up for grabs are Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Star Fox 64 3D, Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive, and everyone's favorite college of craft, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!
