Ovosonico partners with Sony

Ovosonico, the development studio founded by Shadows of the Damned director Massimo Guarini, has signed up with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe to work together on a new intellectual property. Ovosonico is the first studio in Italy to partner with SCE WWSE – "and due to the growing talent in this country; we believe the first of many," noted senior vice president Michael Denny.

SCE WWSE to support Ex Grasshopper Manufacture Game Director's New Project, Ovosonico


Varese, 19th March 2013 - Ovosonico, a new, independent studio founded by industry veteran Massimo Guaring today announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe (SCE WWSE). SCE WWSE will be working together with Ovosonico on new intellectual property.

Established in 2012, Ovosonico specializes in creating new IP by designing and developing original, unconventional and articically-crafted video games. Having preciously directed the award-winning Suda51's Shadows of the Damned, as well as Ubisoft's Naruto - Rise of a Ninja, Massimo Guarini will be heading the studio and will be directing Ovosonico's debit title.
