Master Chief will make the transition to the next generation with a new game in the series for the Xbox One slated to arrive in 2014.

Bonnie Ross at 343 Industries referred to the title simply as a "Halo FPS," noting the game would run on dedicated servers, use Microsoft's cloud computing infrastructure and run at 60 frames per second.
