One Shots: The music makes you jump, jump
Party people in the house, get up off your chairs for One Shots this week! Put on some loud tunes, don your boogie shoes, and flail around like you just don't care. If you do, you'll be right there alongside of these folks in Lord of the Rings Online who don't know the meaning of the emote /sit.

Reader Doron has this crazy and kooky picture from Defiance. Does the word "kooky" make you die a little inside? It does for me, even though I use it. I think I just lost 17% pancreatic function with this paragraph.
"In this cutscene, the player who is accompanied by NPC Jon Cooper breaks into a room where a Raider is holding a bunch of miners hostage," Doron writes. "The last sentence the Raider says before being shot by Jon is, 'Let's have some fun.' I took the screenshot as the Raider was falling to the ground, and he kinda looks like he is breakdancing and encouraging everyone to join the party."
Did someone say... breakdancing? 'Cause inside-out it's wiggida wiggida wiggida wack!
The one, the only, the original Superfly sent in the following tableau from Neverwinter Nights. Yes, for the purposes of today's column, we're including this among the MMO crowd because... look out behind you!

Star Trek Online cadet Mike mailed us in his entire screenshot folder for us to peruse. I took a shine to this picture showing the classic 1960s Enterprise along side of one of the game's newer ships. The old and the new, the classic ride and the souped-up sports car. If you ask me -- and I'm sure you just did -- I have a thing for the older model and think it holds up surprisingly well today.
