Terraria will appear on iOS devices beginning tomorrow, August 29. The popular 2D exploration game will start with a $4.99 asking price for the universal app, compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Re-Logic put development duties in the hands of Codeglue, who redesigned the controls for a multi-touch interface, and implemented other tweaks to make the game work in a portable setting. The game has also been optimized for retina display. Terrarria is planned for Android and Windows Phone devices "soon."
