LG G2 review

You have a lot of choices when it comes to smartphones these days, from Samsung's new Note 3 to Apple's recently announced iPhone 5s and 5c. LG hopes to grab your attention through a new design tactic: putting its three physical buttons on the back of its phone. The new G2 offers a 5.2-inch, 1080p IPS screen, 2GB of RAM, and Qualcomm's 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 which runs Android 4.2.2. A combination of high-level specifications and great battery life make the G2 one of the best flagship Android phones out there. However, those rear-facing buttons won't be for everyone. Motorola's American Dream: unbridled customization and one big Texas factory

Although Motorola's Fort Worth, Texas factory has been churning out 100,000 Moto X's per week for a while now, on Tuesday the company -- along with a few bold-faced names -- officially performed the building's dedication ceremony. A mixture of press, factory workers, Google's Chairman Eric Schmidt and Texas Gov. Rick Perry were all present, grooving to some very Springsteen-ish tunes while waiting for Cupertino's product showcase to end. Click through for a full tour of the all-American factory, and how important customizability is for this Google-owned company.

Apple iPhone 5c hands-on

This past Tuesday Apple took the covers off not one, but two new iPhone models. Interestingly enough the 5c -- Cupertino's cheaper model -- seemed to be the chosen highlight of the event. The "c" model comes with a 4-inch Retina Display, A6 processor, LTE and an 8MP camera, but most importantly a plastic build. The phone starts at $99 with a 2-year contract (or $549 without one) and will be available for purchase on September 20th, although pre-orders have already begun.
