WRUP: Learn to cheese edition

Feta is all right, I suppose. But we're on brie now, so cool it.

All right, people, it's time for you to learn how to cheese. We're starting with the basics. That picture up there is brie, and it is delicious. It is a soft milky wonder of a cheese. That having been said, if you are eating it without the rind, you are not cheesing properly. The rind is half of the flavor. You need that rind, people. Also worth considering are gruyere and camembert.

If you read that and wondered why I didn't mention ricotta, you've unfortunately confused "cheese" with "testament to the sins of Man." Ricotta is horrible. Learn to cheese.

Now, let's talk about WRUP. That's all about what the Massively staff is up to this weekend. Very little cheese is involved. If your world has been rocked by the idea of cheese, it will be a breath of fresh air. But seriously, please, learn to cheese. This is important to me.

@nbrianna: I might duck into Guild Wars 2 for a little bit of auctioning, but I think I'll spend most of my gaming time in Ultima Online this weekend. There's a 16th anniversary celebration going on, and I want to go gawk and soak up some nostalgia.

@Eliot_Lefebvre: With the main story over in Final Fantasy XIV, I'm close to being finished with the game. I just need to get other classes to 50, work on crafting and gathering, earn more money for a nice house when the first patch drops, earn some Darklight gear, and roleplay so much. So... not even close to being finished, actually. Cool.

Jef Reahard, Managing Editor and Columnist Extraordinaire

@jefreahard: All FFXIV, all the time. I'll try to make room for some Grand Theft Auto V, too, but gosh. I'd almost forgotten what it feels like to play an MMORPG with possibilities. Not to mention actual crafting.

@Sypster: While it feels like the whole world is playing FFXIV at the moment, I'm more inclined to spend some time this weekend rolling a couple of alts. I have a new Illuminati in The Secret World who needs to smash zombies with a hammer, and I've been promising myself that I'd put some serious work into a Hobbit character in Lord of the Rings Online. Why can't there be Hobbit Lore-masters, though?

Mike Foster, Contributing Editor

@MikedotFoster: If I manage to get out of bed I'll be playing Dota 2 or some World of Warcraft. I also picked up Kerbal Space Program, but I don't think I am smart enough to play it.

Richie Procopio, Multimedia Contributor

@RichieProcopio: This weekend I'll be playing Guild Wars 2. I've killed the redesigned Tequatl and claimed my Sunbringer title, but I want the minipet and unique ascended weapons. Now I just have to find a way to get off the overflow servers!

Shawn Schuster, Senior Editor

@Epykbeard: I just finished my bi-annual play-through of Fallout: New Vegas, so that's out of my system and I'm ready to jump back into an MMO. I suspect I'll try out a new level 58 character in TERA and give FFXIV another chance since people seem to be enjoying it this time.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
