Nintendo Direct round-up: Hyrule Warriors, Dr. Luigi, free Celebi Pokemon
The last Nintendo Direct of 2013 was a doozy, with host Nintendo El Jefe Satoru Iwata delivering plenty of goodies for Nintendo fans and Wii U owners. Watch the whole Nintendo Direct or check out the news highlights here:
- The Legend of Zelda gets a dose of Dynasty Warriors with Hyrule Warriors, announced this morning and planned for next year. The Wii U game is a collaborative effort between Nintendo and Tecmo Koei.
- Yoshi's New Island will welcome tourists next spring and the series' original creator, Takashi Tezuka, was revealed this morning as working on the project. Yoshi's Island Zone will also be a free DLC stage in Sonic: Lost World.
- Bravely Default will courageously add a side-story demo not found in the core game on January 2 through the eShop.
- Wii Sports Club is hitting the lynx today. Links? That would make more sense. Homophones! Wii Sports Club gets golf.
- Dr. Luigi does the rounds starting this month in North America, travels to Europe for more training in January.
- Rosalina of Super Mario Galaxy will join the Super Smash Bros. roster. Oh yeah, she's also bringing along her Luma.
- Chibi-Robo just wants to help! Starting January 9, the little assistant returns, with more adventures to follow.
- Kirby: Triple Deluxe will include mini-games Kirby Fighters and Dedede's Drug Dash.
- Race to see these two minutes of Mario Kart 8, which is set to GO! in Spring 2014.
