Two news posts on the Steam storefront have revealed potential deals for December 29 and December 30, including Grand Theft Auto 4 and Spelunky for 75 percent off. Visiting the news section for the store currently displays the following deals:

Sunday, December 29:
  • Fallout: New Vegas - 66 percent off
  • Deadlight - 80 percent off
  • Mass Effect 2 - 75 percent off
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2 - 75 percent off
  • Might & Magic Heroes 6 - 75 percent off
  • The Swapper - 66 percent off
  • Risk of Rain - 33 percent off
  • Spelunky - 75 percent off
  • Total War: Rome 2 - 50 percent off

Monday, December 30:

  • Grand Theft Auto 4 - 75 percent off
  • Alan Wake - 90 percent off
  • Kerbal Space Program - 40 percent off
  • Metro: Last Light - 66 percent off
  • Rising Storm - 75 percent off
  • Game Dev Tycoon - 50 percent off
  • Outlast - 66 percent off
  • Farming Simulator 2013 - 50 percent off
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us - 50 percent off
It's not like Valve to preview sales ahead of the day they go live, but that's not the only red flag here. Clicking on either post's headline leads to a blank page and the absence of a Day 10 post leads us to think these deals might have been announced in error. If that's the case, don't be surprised if these aren't the sales you see tomorrow and Monday.
