The cartoon exaggeration of the original Plants vs. Zombies enhanced the inherent silliness of PopCap's beloved strategy game. Here is latest tease for the full-on 3D shooter spinoff, wherein a zombie militia erupts from the hideously carved mouth of a mountain to lay waste to a village of aggressive plants using what look like beach toys. Fingers crossed that the series' jump to a new dimension doesn't suggest a future Plants vs. Zombies game that's photorealistic. It would be terrifying.
