Typing of the Dead: Overkill yearns for 'Love at First Bite' Valentine's DLC

Kill 'em with kindness? Sure, we've all heard the phrase, but how about kill 'em with romance? A new language pack called "Love at First Bite" for The Typing of the Dead: Overkill, Sega's profanity-laden, typing-based on-rails mutant eradicator, aims to do just that.

For $2.99, you can replace all of The Typing of the Dead: Overkill's vocabulary with lovey-dovey phrases like "As you wish," "How many camels can I buy you for?" and more. For those who are feeling less in the mood to swoon, there are also less romantic phrases to mash out on your keyboard like "Break up" and "Impractical."

The "Love at First Bite" DLC is available right now. The Typing of the Dead: Overkill, necessary to play this DLC, is compatible with Windows PC and will run you $20 on Steam.

It's 'Love at First Bite' For Typing of the Dead: OVERKILL Players as New Lexicon Packs Arrive

Roses are red, violets are blue, mutants are ugly, so what do we do? Well, this time players will need to type increasingly more overblown and contrived sweet nothings in order to repel hordes of amorous mutants, queuing up to give them a love bite they'll never forget.

The 'Love at First Bite' Lexicon Pack launches today, priced at $2.99/£1.99/€2.49 and replaces all the words and phrases in the game with romantic witterings that even Casanova would shudder to use. If all this lovey-dovey romantic nonsense isn't really your bag then fear not as the 'Make War Not Love' Lexicon Pack is also being released as a free update for all Typing of the Dead: OVERKILL players on February 13 in celebration of this unique event. This pack will replace all the words and phrases in the game with rallying battle-cries and motivational military speak to cater to the inspirational General that lies within all of us.
