The Queue: Tonari no Garrosh

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Do you think Garrosh would've been better adjusted if he had a big magical friend as a kid?

bcf_80 asked:

Here's a newbie question, but how do you get to the Isle of Giants? Is this the same thing as the Isle of Thunder (and how do you get to that if they're different)? I've been away for too long :)

It's north of Kun-Lai. You can fly or swim there, but be careful if you're flying -- the island is a no-fly zone and you'll get dismounted when you get close. Once there, you can grab a flight path and you won't need to manually fly there again. Unless you want to, of course.

RockwellH asked:

Do you think we will see the sand gnomes that are in the bone waste, In Draenor or will Blizzard just forget them?

They're almost certainly not coming back, and if they do, it'll just be a throwaway reference. I don't think sand gnomes are a "real thing".

Astalnar asked:

So, we were not ready to sacrifice a raid tier for a racial garrisons, but a year without any new content is totally reasonable in order to do a show about building bikes....

I wonder if this is what Blizz has in mind when they say, we are "working" on it.

Do you really think all of the people who make raids are the ones appearing on Azeroth Choppers? Come on now. This is the same as going on the forums and saying "oh, well Zarhym can take time to post on the forums, but we still haven't seen the new human male model yet?"

BaronoftheLake asked:

So I'm hoping that the armor for WoD is appropriately barbarian-like & savage. Which race are you most looking forward to seeing all savaged-out?

I'm looking forward to shaman stuff! If the paladin tier whatever the hell we're up to now is any indication, we might be seeing tier sets inspired by BC tier sets. New Cyclone, Cataclysm, and Skyshatter regalia...a boy can dream...

xezat1 asked:

I wonder what kind of bet Metzen lost to have to choose alliance for that chopper build off. Horde gonna win regardless, maybe it's just a very poor act on his part to garner alliance support considering he gave them their battle cry of "have mercy?"

Look. I think we all know what the result of Azeroth Choppers is going to be. The Horde bike is going to make it into the game, because Horde players are the only ones who care about faction pride. It'll barely be a contest at all. Who represents what faction is immaterial, really. The Horde will win because they'll vote because they're Horde.
