WRUP: Lost and Found Vikings

What are you playing this weekend? And let's be honest. It's Lost Vikings, right? Or would that be the Lost and Found Vikings? (Get it? Lost and Found? Look, it's the weekend and humor is relative, all right?)

Between that and the movie wrapping up, we actually had some news this week. (Oh, and some stuff about cards and warlords and such.) It's not quite the rush of weekend activity that we like to hear, but we'll take what we can get.

We asked our staff to opine about the week's events, as well as what they're playing this weekend. But what about, dear reader? What are you playing this weekend? What opinion of the week is on your mind?

Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) This is the first weekend in a very long time where I have nothing planned. Saturday I'm going to sit on my a$$ and play video games, and Sunday I'm going to sit on my a$$ and go to a baseball game.

The connection between the two? Lost Vikings is awesome and I'm super excited to play it.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I got into the Heroes of the Storm alpha! So hopefully I will have a chance to sit down with that. I'm really excited about the idea of the movie actually wrapping up - it doesn't seem like they've been filming all that long. But I remember when they first started talking about the movie way back when, so it's kind of surreal to hear 'yeah we're almost done filming,' so many years later. I'm also delighted Lost Vikings is on the classics list now, because it was the first Blizzard game I ever played, and I have fond memories of playing it, and also watching my mother play it while quietly swearing under her breath, which is how she played a lot of video games.

Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) Apparently it's animal death week because my cat just died. I'll still be leveling my warlock though. Sorry for your loss, Rossi.

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) My rabbit just died, I won't be doing much of anything

Sarah Pine (@ilaniel) This weekend is shaping up to be rainy and miserable where I live, so I think a healthy dose of video games is on my radar--including Heroes of the Storm, which I haven't gotten to play as much as I'd hoped this week. I really want to check out Li Li while her test week is on. I adore Li Li, haters to the left.

I think the release of Lost Vikings and (part of) Rock N' Roll Racing is great, and I hope Blizzard sees fit to release more of their old titles like this. It's a great nostalgia trip, and also, a lot of these old games are just good fun.

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
