Dead Rising 3 coming to PC [Update: Trailer]
Dead Rising 3 is coming to Steam, Capcom announced today in a press release detailing their E3 2014 lineup. There's no date attached to the former Xbox One exclusive's arrival on PC, but seeing how the game will be shown at E3 next week, we should know more soon.
The zombie apocalypse sure has convenient timing; Microsoft released drivers for the Xbox One to PC owners earlier today, and Capcom has confirmed that the game will feature control schemes for controllers as well as a mouse and keyboard.

Capcom Announces Dead Rising®3 for PC, Monster Hunter Freedom UniteTM on the App Store℠, Phoenix Wright®: Ace Attorney® Trilogy for Nintendo 3DSTM and New Details for Monster HunterTM 4 Ultimate; E3 to Serve as Capcom Pro Tour Ranking Event
SAN MATEO, Calif. – June 5, 2014 – Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced new titles for its upcoming lineup and confirmed its roster of playable titles to be shown at the 2014 E3 Expo® in Los Angeles. Newly announced titles include Dead Rising® 3 for PC, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite™ on the App Store℠, and Phoenix Wright®: Ace Attorney® Trilogy for Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS™. These along with Ultra Street Fighter® IV for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC and the debut of Monster Hunter™ 4 Ultimate for Nintendo 3DS will be playable at Capcom's booth at the LA Convention Center next week. E3 will also serve as a ranking event in the Capcom Pro Tour, the previously announced Street Fighter® focused fighting game league.
The critically acclaimed Xbox One exclusive launch title Dead Rising® 3 will be available for PC digital download on Steam globally and a retail version for Windows PC in Europe in Summer 2014. PC gamers will be able to experience the hordes of horror at high PC resolutions with upgraded textures on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.
Dead Rising 3 for PC will include Steam platform support with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Steam Trading Cards, global leaderboards and full game controller support. Also compatible with the keyboard and mouse, players will be able to toggle back and forth between the two in real time.
The third title in the Dead Rising series with sales of over 1 million units to date, Dead Rising 3 takes place 10 years after the events of Dead Rising 2. Set in the city of Los Perdidos amidst a nationwide zombie outbreak, the story follows Nick Ramos, a young mechanic. He must find a way to escape from thousands of blood thirsty zombies before an impending military strike wipes out the city and its population. Relying on the help of other survivors he meets along the way and the vast array of unique and powerful combo weapons available, Nick will need to get creative to get out of the infected city before it's too late.
