Does the Steam summer sale begin on Thursday? Payment processor Paysafecard seems to think so, stating - in Portuguese - Valve's annual batch of summer savings runs from the 19th to the 30th of June. Furthermore, @SteamDB notes the newest Steam week-long deals end on Thursday, June 19, rather than the end of the week as usual. That's a bit fishy, no?

Then again, we may be misreading the alignments. Valve's yet to announce any details for the inevitable sale, and over the last few years it's begun in July rather than June.

Either way, let's enjoy this video by Kryos while reflecting on all the good times we had with our wallets and purses. So long, little friends. We cannot protect you from the storm.
