One Shots: Regrets, I've had a few

Staring at a sunset is a perfectly legitimate time to look back at one's day (and one's life) to muse upon victories won and defeats suffered. The regrets are then cast upon the sinking sun to be taken into the void of yesterday. Tomorrow? Tomorrow is a clean slate of possibilities.

Reader Dynatos submitted this warm and fuzzy Final Fantasy XIV picture. "Here's another sunset, this time in Thanalan with my tanky Carbuncle. I kinda miss him after he was replaced."

Regrets? We've all had a few. And if you don't read the rest of this column, you will regret it. That's friendly advice, not a threat.

Reader Brad has a sobering reminder that Polygon Difficiency can strike any of our characters at any time. That's why it's important to install protection each and every time you log in.

"I was running through a mission in Anarchy Online and came across this sign," Brad said. "All of a sudden I felt extremely ill, and... well, I tossed in a funny comment from a Borderlands 2 automated resurrection booth."

Hi guy! Hey, you look friendly! Are you into warm hugs? I could use one right now! Wait, why are you crushing me into a fine paste? That's a party foul, dude.

"I'm starting to develop an inordinate amount of pride in my ability to take screenshots, particularly in the middle of the action," reader Tyler bragged. "Perhaps not coincidentally, a favourite of mine is this first-person perspective of me tanking the Sha of Pride raid boss in World of Warcraft."

This week's screenshot challenge is to take a picture of a great enemy death pose. Mobs sometimes die in funny ways in MMOs, so why shouldn't we document their misery for posterity?
