Where and when to pre-order the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on September 12
Apple is preparing to open pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Friday, September 12. Unlike previous years when everyone flocked to Apple to secure their phone, pre-ordering now is available from Apple, wireless carriers and a variety of third-party retailers.

Apple
Apple: Apple hasn't announced its timing, but we assume based on carriers and previous launches that the company will be opening pre-orders starting at 12:01 AM PT on September 12.
Wireless Carriers
AT&T: AT&T will accept pre-orders starting at 12:01 AM PT on September 12.
Verizon Wireless: Verizon Wireless will accept pre-orders starting at 12:01 AM PT on September 12.
T-Mobile: T-Mobile will accept pre-orders starting on September 12. The carrier did not provide the time that pre-orders would begin.
Sprint: Sprint will accept pre-orders starting at 12:00 AM PT on September 12.
US Cellular: US Cellular will accept pre-orders starting at 12:01 AM PT on September 12.
Retailers
Target: Target will accept pre-orders starting on September 12. Pre-orders will be accepted in retail store locations only.
Walmart: Walmart will accept pre-orders starting on September 12 at 9 a.m. when stores open. Pre-orders will only be accepted for the 16GB iPhone 6 for Verizon, Sprint or AT&T. Customers who pre-order an iPhone 6 will receive a $15 e-gift card.
Best Buy: Best Buy will accept pre-orders starting on September 12. Pre-orders will be processed only at retail store locations.
Radio Shack: Radio Shack will accept pre-orders starting on September 12 when stores open. The retailer also is offering a $50 gift card for all iPhone orders placed before September 27.
