Commence updating as iOS 8 is now available to download

It's finally here! Apple's latest version of iOS — iOS 8 — is now available publicly to download on all compatible iOS devices. These devices include the iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 2, iPad with Retina display, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini with Retina display.

Owners of the aforementioned devices can download iOS 8 by updating their device wirelessly over a WiFi connection by going to Settings > General > Software Update or through iTunes using the update option that'll appear when the device is connected to your computer.

The updates requires 4.6GB of free space on the iPhone and 6.9GB of free space on the iPad.
