Curtain Call DLC covers Final Fantasy Fables, Romancing Saga, more

Whether you've already earned SSS ranks across the entirety of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call's 200+ song setlist or you just really dig deep cuts like Romancing Saga, Square Enix is serving up a la carte encores through its unlockable DLC store. Each track, as well as two additional pieces of character DLC, runs for 99 cents apiece.

This week saw the release of four new tracks across the Final Fantasy series, including FF8's Premonition and Vivi's Theme from FF9, as well as four tracks spanning the first three Romancing Saga games. As for character-focused DLC, a second take on Cloud is also offered, which channels his wardrobe from FF7: Advent Children.

Another batch is due on Thursday, October 9, which will include FF7: Advent Children's Advent: One-Winged Angel, Locke's Theme from FF6, and Leviathan Battle from FF Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. Lastly, next week's character DLC will add FF Tactics' Cidolfus Orlandeau.

You can parse through the full lists for both this and next week's DLC offerings after the break.

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 2, 2014) – After receiving scores of fantastic submissions from fans around the world, SQUARE ENX® today announced the winners of the THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL™ Legacy of Music contest. Contestants participated in this musical experience by creating and uploading a music video of themselves performing the main theme from the FINAL FANTASY® series. Videos were carefully reviewed by legendary series composer Nobuo Uematsu, who chose the winners of the contest himself.

"I'd like to thank all the fans who submitted their videos to the THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL contest," said Uematsu. "All the submissions were extremely well done, and it was a difficult task to pick from among them, but I've selected the works that had the most distinctive construction."

The Grand Prize went to Miles (United States) who received a complimentary trip to an upcoming DISTANT WORLDS®: FINAL FANTASY concert, signed soundtracks and a selection of fantastic prizes. Runner-up, Tanner (United States), also earned great prizes, including various FINAL FANTASY soundtracks, a signed Collector's Edition of THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL and FINAL FANTASY Static Arts Figures.

SQUARE ENIX also released a video of Uematsu personally congratulating the winners of the contest, as well as giving special thanks to everyone who participated. The contest brought together entrants from all around the world to make their own harmonious mark in FINAL FANTASY's Legacy of Music.
