As for the other surprising reveal, it's perhaps even more of an eye-opener. As you can see in the video below the break, Miss Miku strutted onto primetime US TV by performing her song "Sharing the World" on last night's Late Show with David Letterman. As the bemused host put it at the end of the surreal performance, "It's like being on Willie Nelson's bus."
The hubbub precedes two stateside concerts for the synthesized star, starting with one in Los Angeles this weekend and followed by another in New York next week.
Miku is of course already a sensation in Japan and her rhythm games have been a significant part of her success, with 2.5 million units shipped in that country alone. Now it seems creator Crypton Future Media is stepping things up stateside ahead of the songstress' newest rhythm games; Sega is bringing Project Diva F 2nd to North America for PS3 and Vita on November 18 and Project Mirai Remix for 3DS sometime next year.
