Final Fantasy 14 spawns Game of the Year edition only on PC
Square Enix's revamped massively multiplayer roleplaying game Final Fantasy 14 will soon see a Game of the Year edition re-release, though it's only coming to the PC. Tucked within a unique Book of Diamonds Grimoire box will be five collectible art cards, 90 days of subscription time and Final Fantasy 14 itself, along with all of the MMO's updates and content expansions.
Though Square Enix recently announced plans to add the ninja and rogue classes to Final Fantasy 14 in the game's upcoming 2.4 patch, there's still no word on when that update might appear or if any of its content will be included in the Game of the Year release. Square Enix plans to release Final Fantasy 14 Game of the Year edition on November 14, but has yet to establish a price for the new bundle.

Limited "Game of the Year" edition of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN to be released 14th November

LONDON (13th October, 2014) – Square Enix Ltd., today announced a limited "Game of the Year" edition of FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™ for PC will be available from 14th November 2014. Packed with bonus content, this edition serves as a collector's item for both FINAL FANTASY fans and MMORPG players.
The "Game of the Year" edition comes in a high quality, printed "Book of Diamonds" Grimoire box, contains 5 exclusive art cards and includes 30 days of playtime, as well as a digital timecard for an additional 60 free days of adventure in the realms of Eorzea, In total, 90 days of playtime to experience all of the high level content this MMO offers.
With this limited special edition, players will have access to the main game as well as the content of all the updates "A Realm Awoken", "Through the Maelstrom", "Defenders of Eorzea", and the latest update "Dreams of Ice", scheduled for release later this month.
With these updates the game offers not only a rich, epic and expanding story but also a multitude of new in-game features: two action-packed PvP modes, numerous unique races and classes, a multi-layered crafting system, housing, chocobo raising, monster hunting, and countless dungeons, monsters, raids and challenging boss fights in the fascinating world of FINAL FANTASY!
