Walmart to slash iPhone 6 and 6 Plus prices by $50 in holiday sale
Shoppers looking for a deal an iPhone should swing by their local Walmart retail store this weekend. According to Bloomberg, the retailer is slashing the price of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5s by as much as $50. These reductions are taken off Walmart's original retail prices, which already are lower than Apple's standard pricing.
Pricing for the iPhone 6 starts at $129 for the 16GB model and $229 for the 16GB iPhone 6 Plus. Walmart also is selling the 64GB iPhone for $229. The 16GB iPhone 5s is eligible for a $30 discount, selling for $49. All these prices require a new two-year customer agreement with A&T, Verizon or Sprint.
Unlike Walmart's earlier sales which were available both online and in stores, these iPhone discounts will be available only in retail stores.
