<p>The <a href="https://www.engadget.com/2015/01/12/the-2016-acura-nsx-unveiled/">Acura NSX</a> isn't the only new supercar at this year's Auto Show in Detroit, as Ford brought a <a href="https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2015/01/12/ford-redefines-innovation-with-gt-supercar.html">new version of its GT</a> (<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2015/01/12/2016-ford-gt-official/"><em>Autoblog</em></a>). Built using carbon fiber and aluminum for lighter weight, it has the "most powerful EcoBoost engine ever" inside -- a 600+ HP 3.5-liter V6. There's active aero with a deployable rear spoiler, while inside it  features Ford's new <a href="https://www.engadget.com/2014/12/11/ford-sync-3/">Sync 3</a> setup, an F1-style steering wheel plus a fully digital and configurable instrument cluster. Of course, we can't forget the 20-inch wheels and upward swinging doors.</p> <p>Ford promises 12 new Performance models by 2020 including this one along with the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2015/01/12/ford-mustang-shelby-gt350r-detroit-2015/">Mustang GT 350R</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2015/01/12/ford-f150-raptor-ecoboost-aluminum-body-detroit-2015/">F150 Raptor</a>, due to begin production at the end of next year. There's no price, but even if you can't afford a real one, Microsoft announced it as the <a href="http://news.xbox.com/2015/01/games-forza-motorsport-6-unveiled"><em>cover car for Forza Motorsport 6</em></a>, so you'll be able to drive it one way or another.</p>
