As I'm a great fan of legendary Star Wars games and always on the lookout of the best games inspired by the cult movie? Well, there are plenty of them and here goes a list on the most voted ones for a superior gaming.

10. Star Wars Trilogy Arcade – By Yavin Gameplay

No idea why Sega didn't bring the trilogy to Dreamcast-yet it's definitely one among the most exciting arcade games released ever. It was released long back in 1999 and the best part about the game is its brilliant use of cutting edge Model-3 hardware which sweeps the gamers beautifully to the thrilling scenes from the famous series. Be it "Battle of Hoth" or "Assualt on the Death Star"- we are simply excited reminiscing about all.

Republic Commando: Released in 2005, Republic Commando marks a somewhat different feel from other Star Wars numbers as it doesn't have Jedi warriors and many other familiar elements of the iconic series. You can say it's a kind of fusion between Metroid Prime and Halo. It's no doubt one among the best of racing games themed on all the 3 prequels. The game amazes with its Wipeout-esque affair when the player flies around in a rocket-propelled pod, bypassing all hazards & rivals on the way. The game was released in 1999 and is available for N64, PC, Game Boy Color and Dreamcast.

7. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga LEGO is always known for its humorous touch to everything it does and this Star Wars game is no different. Released in 2007, this Star Wars game by Lego has come up with one massive game, following games from each movie trilogy- which has impressed with new & redone levels. A 1997-release, the game is little different from the original part- whilst the actual Dark Forces seemed more of Doom-alike, this one assures the perfect Jedi feel in some awe-inspiring 3D world.
