Skype As Means of Organizing Your Life

SkyHistory enables you to store and manage Skype messaging, filter chats and browse through saved conversations chronologically

I stumbled upon this app a month ago. Looks really decent and revolutionizing for all procrastinators (including, myself)

SkyHistory is a Skype account manager to categorize all the chats with the date and time. It goes with a built-in calendar. So, you could actually put a label on a conversation with your boss and see the task in front of your eyes until you finally accomplish it.

It has an intuitive and straightforward interface, so I had a feeling that all the buttons are organized
exactly in the right spots.

Important thing is that you could also browse all your Skype chats with the help of a search bar to find crucial information. This really happened to me once or twice. Especially when ny bf writes me something on Skype and later on denies mentioning that. Now I can check :)

How it works:

  • The app creates a database which imports all previously saved Skype chat history
  • You could sift through what part of chat history will make up the core of the database. In case you have no desire to keep tracking conversations with some people just disable that function.
  • The database could be located on a portable device (stick, drive). It means that any device you are using to skype will have a manageable Skype browsing tool at hand. Isn't that fun?

Hopefully, everyone will become more effective at work or in personal life, at least it'll be easier to 'stalk' on all past conversations.
