The Reuleaux 200w May Be The Last Box Mod You Ever Buy

rx200 box mod review

I've used quite a few box MODs in my time vaping and I have to say that the Reuleaux RX200 is by far one of my favorites. In the past, the Reuleaux series was always fairly well known. This updated vision of their MOD is definitely gonna bring it to the front of the pack.

One thing I particularly enjoy about the RX200 is the fact that it has distinct temperature control modes for stainless steel, titanium, and nickel coils. Past box MODs I've had have needed to be manually adjusted for just one of the major coil types, and switching among the three metals was a pretty big time commitment. With just a few clicks to navigate through the menus, the RX200 delivers easy, accessible access to these options.

When I tested it, I used my standard e-juice from Vape Craft. The "Milk of the Gods" flavor is one of my comfort flavors, and it's great for testing as it's both sweet and accurate in flavor. The RX200 was a pleasure to work with. My liquid didn't gunk up the coils at all after a few sessions, something that normally happens due to the inherent sweetness of the flavor. I can just imagine how great the vape works with other juices!

Although I don't normally admit it, I do like to show off my hardware to other people. Therefore, I like to make sure they look good. The RX definitely looks good. I ordered the red model, as I like futuristic and sleek styles. The red version came and looked almost exactly like the pictures - red and black flowing around the entire body of the mod. The colors stood out and instantly caught your eye. The hexagonal shape of the RX200 is quite unique, and the 3 replaceable battery cells give the designers an opportunity to cement a great look. Since my black Reuleaux was almost identical to the pictures online, I can only assume that the red, white, and matte white versions look good as well!

I didn't just order the RX200 for the looks, however. What caught my eye was the new technology in the chip. According to Wismec, the RX200 has a maximum output of 200 watts. Since I vape at high intensity, I'm always looking for a MOD that can reliably output tons of power and lots of vapor. Many box MODs say they have reliable power output no matter how full the battery is, but that is simply not true. I've noticed that as battery charge decreases, power output significantly decreases. In the Reuleaux this does not happen at all. Power output is always consistent no matter how charged the battery is. As a heavy vaper, this makes me quite happy. Whether it's from the three cells that fit in the RX200 or the superior chip they use, the makers of this outstanding box mod truly deserve for as many people as possible to try this amazing product.
