Three Artistic Ideas to Your Gaming Room Technology

Having a room in your home dedicated to gaming can be one of the best uses of a spare bedroom, loft or basement conversion or outdoor room if gaming is a big part of how you spend your downtime. Naturally you will want the room to have a great display, your gaming PC or consoles, the perfect chair, and maybe some provisions like a mini fridge or coffee making facilities so you don't have to emerge from your gaming cave if you need snacks or refreshments.

Gaming room

Once you've got those basics in place it is time to make it look awesome, and the gaming room is the perfect place to display the nerdy merchandise your partner or family might not really want you putting all over the rest of the house (unless your partner is a gamer too, in which case the gaming room is going to need two chairs!). Of course, to really make your gaming room feel like your own relaxing sanctuary, it can be nice to personalize it a bit with some stuff that nobody else has, but which reflects your favorite games, your own taste and makes you feel at home.
Here are three ways to really customize your gaming cave!
Stickers and Buttons
If you don't have a lot of money to spend on finishing touches after setting up the main features of your room, then something inexpensive like custom stickers and buttons with a design you choose (perhaps with the name of your team or your favorite online game, or a slogan or joke you find funny) can be used just about anywhere, including on your computer or console, to customize things and give them a more interesting look. Stickers can be added almost anywhere, whilst custom buttons can be added to any fabrics you have in your room.
Design Your Own LED Lighting
Lighting can be a bolder way to give your room a unique look, and if you use LED, you have an almost endless range of color options, with the ability to have color changing lights, lights in strings or tubes, and lights you can shape to look like neon 'bar lights'. LED color changing lights that work by remote control can be good for enabling you to actually change the mood of your gaming room depending on what you are doing or playing, for instance using red lighting to set the tone for a horror game, blue lighting for futuristic games, and so on.
Art
Having some cool posters or artwork related to your favorite games can be a cool way to create points of interest in your room, however, to make it truly personal, why not create some fan art yourself, or, if you don't have an artistic bent, commission a print of an image you like from the web.
These are just three ways to customize your gaming room and make it a little bit more interesting and homely.
