  • Sarah is an award-winning author, and sometimes she helps other authors improve their own manuscripts.
  • She spent the first several years of her career covering smart home technology, which was necessary for survival, as a lifelong obsession with new tech makes it very difficult to afford anything else.
  • As a tech journalist, she has built coverage dedicated to adaptive products, accessible tech, and finding items that make life easier.

Experience

After completing her education in 2018, Sarah moved from being a freelance tech and parenting writer to covering smart home improvements as a staff writer for Reviewed, which was a division of USA Today. Soon after, she was promoted to editor of the vertical and led the coverage for several years. She was then given the opportunity to build a new coverage area focused on adaptive products and accessibility. She later went on to work as a consultant for Consumer Reports.

Education

Sarah obtained her bachelor's degree in journalism from Missouri Western State University.
