The best Black Friday SSD deals: Save on microSD cards, SSDs and PC storage

The Crucial MX500 internal SSD is on sale for $60 right now. We like this drive for its standard 2.5-inch design that should allow it to fit into most desktops and laptops, along with its AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption.

Crucial's X8 portable drive has been discounted to $48 as a Black Friday deal. It supports read speeds up to 1,050 MB/s, has a pocket-friendly design that can withstand drops from up to 7.5 feet and it's compatible with most devices — including some game consoles.

Samsung's 980 Pro SSD with heatsink (2TB) is on sale for $120 for Black Friday. This earned a spot on our best SSDs for PS5 list thanks to Samsung's general prowess in this space and the drive's up to 7,000MB/s read speeds.

The WD Black SN850X is on sale for $115 right now. It's another good option for the PS5 thanks to its 7,300 MB/s speeds, and its compatibility with a heatsink. If you use it with a PC, you'll be able to monitor the drive's health using the WD_Black Dashboard as well.
