AMD is working on a 64-bit dual-core chipset that will be both more powerful than Intel's and MUCH more affordable. With Windows Vista on the horizon, it seems that the days of the 32-bit processor are number. To me, Intel releasing a 32-bit dual-core is a futile attempt to catch some of the notebook market, as it's 64-bit dual-core processor will be 4-6 months behind AMD's. For those looking for a notebook gor gaming and/or engineering graphics, I would recommend that you wait for AMD to take the next step ahead of Intel.
