Engadget's many birthday cakes (part III)
We were
so unbelievably overwhelmed with cakes for our 2nd birthday
contest that we couldn't very well just let them all go to waste. Obviously we wish we could give everyone a prize
to say thanks for baking us a treat for
our birthday, but instead we've got three days' worth of Engadget birthday cake galleries to show 'em all off. So
bust out your toothbrushes everyone, it's time to have your cake and eat it too. Thanks for making this the best
birthday Engadget ever had, even if it's only one of two.

Brad and Jennifers is the best :)
My God!! Some of those are amazing!!! Well done!!!
hm.... Interesting Cultural Differences, I'm more used to the QWERTY Keyboard and the Dvorak keyboard, than the HAPPY keyboard; It seems such a waste to have 2 "p"'s
Brent L's iPod cake is freaking amazing. The icing on that is wow.
I think Brent L should give up his day job. Unless he's a baker of course...
Some of these are actually pretty good, it looks like Mark Wang put a lot of work into his, though this looks kind of odd...

I personally like the 'e2' cake the best. the one with the GIANT raised e. looks really tasty.
Thanks Seamus. And yeah that's suppose to be a lamp, however time was running out and I just used a banana. However it looks like you know, haha. Sadly I didn't even win a t-shirt for my effort, oh well....
Another Chu Chu Rocket fan?!?!?! WAHOOOOO
What is the deal with the watch under Joe's "133t" cake?
Awesome job everyone!!! I wish i had had time to make a cake but seeing everyone else's awesome jobs im glad i didnt cause it would have sucked. by the way brent awesome ipod! i mean my god! also i agree. wats with the watch under the leet cake? hehe.

If the baker of the Slingbox cake shoots me an email, I'd be more than happy to send back a Sling Media t-shirt!!
Happy bday Engadget!!! Way to go!
All the cakes are amazing love the Hello Kitty cake.
I've put on millions of calories just looking at these cakes. No, really- they are great! Brent L's is truly an 'engadget' work of art, Pericles M's looks delicious and I absolutely adore Maxime F's Inspector Engadget. My hero!
Happy 2nd birthday :)
Can't beat Brent L's - its brilliant!
@Comments 13 & 14:
The nixie tubes are supposed to be a clock, 13:37 (1:37 PM).
So he put a watch underneath as a joke, to make it look 'portable'.
I so want to make a cake now ...
Ryan and Engadget,
Wow! I am impressed!
Lots of love
