Asus officially introduces R2H UMPC
We're not entirely sure how much more official the Asus R2H UMPC needed to get, but they're, um, really announcing the handheld computer with the 7-inch screen, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR, 802.11a/b/g, fingerprint reader, drive options up to 60GB, and an anemic 900MHz Celeron M ULV today. Still no official release date or price, but if the rest of the UMPCs are between $800 and $1300 (or more), you can definitely expect the Asus device to be at the top of that scale.

how about this request... BETTER CPU's
How about a low power core solo or duo or something to really spark my interest if it wasnt for the bad cpu these things would rock!
First of all, it needs a least twice the memory, and a shitload of CPU power - more than what it has. What the hell are these assholes thinking?
Lets make a piece of shit and see who bites?
Scotch-because they run full-blown Windows applications including iTunes, and have net connectivity in a small package.
Yes, they need to run faster and need more energy efficient processors. And the price needs to hit $700.
This class of device was introduced two years ahead of its time.
i still dont understand the point of umpcs :(
Razor, in two years, nobody will want a UMPC because they won't be able to run Windows. The only time to launch something like this is when an OS is five years old, or when Microsoft makes a "lite" version of their OS. TinyXP anyone?
I think you guys want too much. This is not a game machine! This will be cool for me to read books and listen to music on the train. This is just ugly ugly thing. I prefer the samsung but samsung doesn't have GPS. Well, I guess we can't have everything right.
If I wanna buy a umpc, then I won't buy anything bigger than 5", becouse I want it in my pocket...
I think OQO v02 is the best ever upc but I wich it had a core due or core solo processor :(
