Europe to suffer another PS3 delay?
This whole PS3 delay game has really become something of an amusing sideshow at this point: after so much bad press concerning nearly every single aspect of the console, you'd think that Sony would do everything possible to ensure that things run smoothly from here until launch, and yet word on the street is that Europe may be victim to still another postponement. It should be noted we have no independent confirmation of the following information, but Spanish gaming site MeriStation is reporting that Ken Kutaragi recently admitted that supply problems for Japan and North America could force the European PS3 launch to be delayed until May -- which would mean that Japanese and American consumers might have their systems nearly six months before the eager gamers in the rest of the world. Now keep in mind that Kutaragi also supposedly said that Sony has not modified its European launch plans at this time, so right now we're only looking at a "what if" scenario. Still, this rollout has been plagued with nothing but problems since day one, and as much as we'd like to see Sony pull this one off considering the shaky condition it's currently in, we're starting to think that these little issues and public gaffes may add up to big problems.[Thanks, Mercenary]

It seems that the author has a really small world conformed only by North America, Japan and Europe... as he mentions Europe as the rest of the world... Have you ever tried to see further than your nose´s tip... we might spend as many bucks as you in technology, it doesn´t matter getting our hands on a PS3 is harder. Greetings.

The REAL reporters of GamesIndustry.biz decided to do what Engadget's fake reporter/FUD-spreader did not: They actually did some reporting rather than just spread rumors.

"We are still fully committed to a March 2007 launch date. Ken Kutaragi has not done any media briefings since the Tokyo Game Show, and the story is not true."
Engadget could have checked this before printing this story, picked up a phone, called Sony, found out it isn't true, and saved their credibility. They did not.
Either they just suck at reporting, or they are doing this on purpose, sucking up to their buddies at Microsoft, and giving away XBox 360's in exchange for Engadget's credibility.
I guess readers will have to decide.
Well hey Engadget Editors, here's some TRUTH for you to print: Your reporter on this story is a retarded rumor monkey who didn't care about the truth or your credibility enough to pick up a phone and call Sony to find out if Kutaragi has been doing interviews. And you didn't do your jobs as editors. either.
So it's "tinfoil hat" to expect reporters to actually report news, and do follow-ups to make sure what they are printing is true, rather than simply print lies?
No, it's not "tinfoil hat" Chris...it's called "JOURNALISM" which has a code of "ETHICS" -- there's two terms, for you and the editors and so-called "reporters" of Engadget like Evan Blass, to ponder.
If you can find anywhere in Evan Blass' report where he tried to do one whit of basic reporting, instead of just parroting the lie, please, enlighten us all.
Holy crap... OK, I know this is kind of off topic, but that picture made my jaw drop. The first thing that came to my mind is it looks like Kutaragi is attempting some form of weightlifting. I've never seen a PS3 next to something to scale it to before, so I didn't know it was that enormously huge! That thing is freakin GINORMOUS!
