Personally, I'm very excited to hear this. The UMPC was something I thought would take mobile computing by storm but offerings so far have failed to live up to the hype (the Sony UX probably coming the closest, but still a loser b/c of price and battery life). With HTC in the game I am getting excited about the future of the UMPC again. Who knows, maybe with HTC mobile technology built-in I'll be able to work on a spreadsheet while a video conference with Belgium all on my UMPC over a 3G network from the park!
